Basic policy against anti-social forces
Prudential Systems Japan Ltd (“PSJL”) will abide by the “Company’s guideline to prevent damage caused by anti-social forces” that was agreed on June 29, 2007 at the secretariat’s meeting on the Ministerial Meeting Concerning Measures Against Crime, to ensure appropriateness and soundness of our business. PSJL will act firmly against anti-social forces and shall set out the “Basic policy against anti-social forces” as follows to eradicate any relationships with such groups.
Objectives with whom we should break relationships in pursuant to this basic policy include anti-social forces and entities which are controlled or managed practically by anti-social forces, its symbionts（those who deem to offer funds and convenience to anti-social forces, those who unduly use anti-social forces, etc.）, and others who have relation with anti-social forces which are blamed socially.
1. Total eradication of relationships including business transactions
PSJL will place a significant emphasis on breaking relationships with anti-social forces, etc. as we operate our business, as we fully recognize our social responsibility to eradicate anti-social forces, etc. and the importance to prevent any damage that may inflict on PSJL, our employees and executives, as well as our customers etc.
2. Response as an organization
PSJL will respond to anti-social forces, etc. as an organization and will put our first priority on securing the safety of the people involved.
3. Prohibition of contribution of money and provision of accommodation
PSJL will not provide money or any accommodation to anti-social forces, etc.
4. Cooperation with external specialized agencies
PSJL will work to establish close relationships with external specialized agencies etc. such as the police, the National Center for the Elimination of Boryokudan, and outside counsel etc., in the course of our normal business to get appropriate advice and cooperation when confronting the anti-social forces, etc.
5. Legal action under civil and criminal law to respond to emergency situations
PSJL will actively pursue to take legal action against unjust demands etc. from anti-social forces, etc. from both civil and criminal law.
